Cocos Creator Component -- Button Effect

📌 Introduction

Button Effect is a plug-and-play Cocos Creator component for quickly adding interactive animation effects to UI buttons, such as click-to-scale, rotation, glow, and hover feedback.

No complex code is required; simply select the desired effects in the Inspector to combine them, making it ideal for beginners and commercial projects.

🎮 Supported Effects

1. 🎯 Smart Camera Modes
   
   • FOLLOW Mode (smooth player tracking)
   • PLATFORM Mode (horizontal focus with vertical dead zone)
   • BOSS LOCK Mode (automatic cinematic lock area)
2. Dynamic Zoom System
   
   • Auto zoom based on player distance
   • Adjustable min/max zoom
   • Smooth zoom transition

All effects can be freely combined and enabled.

✅ Installation

1. Drag ButtonEffect.ts into your project's assets directory.
2. Waiting for Cocos Creator to compile automatically.
3. Open the sample scene (Test Scene) to test.

🛠️How to Use?

1. Add Component

• Select a Button node
  
• Click Add Component
• Add ButtonEffect.ts
• Select the Effect Type you need
• Setting parameters
• Complete!

2. Inspector Settings

In the Inspector, you will see several checkboxes:

• ☑ Enable Click Scale
  
• ☑ Enable Long Press Scale
• ☑ More Settings

Simply select the effect you want.

3. Parameters

🔊 Click Sound

• Support AudioSource
  
• Each button can be configured with its own sound effect.
• This does not affect the existing Button Click event.

This resource contains a test scenario:

• Demonstrating all button effects
  
• You can run it directly to see the effect.
• New users are advised to check out the Test Scene first.

⚠ Notes

• This component is based on Cocos Creator 3.x
  
• Please ensure that the button node contains a Button component.
• It is recommended to use UITransform for UI nodes.

❓ FAQ

Q: Can multiple effects be enabled at the same time?   A: Can, each effect is an independent checkbox.

Q: Will it affect the original Button click event?  A: No, ButtonEffect will not override the original logic.

Q: Can it be used for commercial projects?  A: Yes, commercial use is permitted.
